    The location is very close to cable car station to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park only 10 mins walk.

    Highly recommended. Very easy and near the cable car. Agreed with all the positive reviews and ratings. Will definitely stay there again if going to Zhangjiajie. No JI Hotel name displayed but watched it for the entrance as in photo. Had breakfast for two at very special rate.

    We switched rooms because the smoke smell was strong but in the second room there was still a smell. The hotel has poor ventilation/ air conditioning system. First, the glass windows are open but there is a mesh in front of it that boards it up. This makes airflow poor. Second, this problem is definitely prevalent in the hotel as we noticed many of the unoccupied rooms have their doors left open. (The beds all made up, new bottles of water, no belongings but door is left half open. ) Because the windows can’t be accessed through the mesh also means they are constantly left open. Noises of planes flying over were common at night and traffic noises highly audible in the mornings. We chose to sleep without the air conditioning and drew the curtains open when we slept as it seems the air conditioning is where we found the smoke smell to travel out from. (This is confirmed by the front desk when we checked out). But as a result I had to wake up in the morning to draw the curtains close. I definitely didn’t get good sleep and needed to scale another mountain the next day. If they were to rectify this problem it is actually a good hotel that is well-situated near Tian Men Mountain Entrances for A, B & C. And only a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport.
