    Location is good, 10-15mins away from Huaihai and xintiandi. Room is clean. However, the hotel wifi is not stable

    This is my second time staying at this hotel, and it never fails to impress me. Although there was a slight delay during check-in, the rest of the process went smoothly. I will definitely come back again.

    I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable, and the room layout was well designed and pleasant. However, there are several areas that need improvement: Toilet: There was a noticeable sewage smell coming from the toilet, which was quite unpleasant. We have to put some essential oil to cover the smell. Reception / Luggage Handling: When we arrived in the morning and couldn’t check in yet, we deposited 2 bags but were only given 1 tag. When we returned in the afternoon, only 1 bag was initially provided to us, which was concerning. A similar issue occurred during check-out. We again deposited 2 bags but were given only 1 tag. When we requested an additional tag for security and clarity, the receptionist responded, “Oh, don’t worry, no one will take your bag.” This response was not reassuring. Our concern was that other guests might accidentally take the wrong bag, especially if proper tagging procedures are not followed. Staff should handle such concerns more professionally and with greater attention to detail, rather than appearing nonchalant. ⸻ Overall, while the room itself was comfortable, improvements in hygiene and staff training—especially in handling guests’ belongings—are necessary.
