    We had a lovely time staying here. Amazing location, literally next to Laoximen train station, walking distance to Xintiandi and around 20 mins walk to Yuyuan Garden. Staff were very helpful and kind. There is a washing machine in our room, which is very convenient in the summer as we get very sweaty a lot. There is a convenient store just next door and there is Wagas and McDonalds downstairs too. Very recommended!

    We had a wonderful stay at BaseLite Xintiandi and would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Shanghai. The property is still undergoing some renovations, but it did not impact our stay at all. One of the biggest advantages is the location. Laoximen Station is right beside the property, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The neighborhood is great as well, with two FamilyMart locations within the same block (one practically next door) and a McDonald’s nearby. What really sets BaseLite apart is the amenities. It has a movie room, game room, coworking space, laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, gym, and a comfortable lounge area. As someone who was working remotely during the trip, I found the coworking facilities especially useful. Among all the places I’ve stayed, BaseLite easily ranks near the top when it comes to shared amenities. Our room was surprisingly spacious and had an incredible amount of storage. I’ve honestly never seen so many cabinets and closets in a hotel room before, which was perfect for a longer stay. The only things I felt were missing were a TV and a full-length mirror. The TV wasn’t a big deal, but as a girl who likes putting outfits together, I definitely missed having a full mirror. Lastly, the staff were always helpful, friendly, and accommodating whenever we needed assistance. Overall, BaseLite Xintiandi is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stay, especially for longer visits, remote workers, or anyone who appreciates great facilities and easy access to public transportation. Highly recommended!

    The hotel's strategic location made it convenient, easy access to key attractions, dining options, and transportation links. What truly enhanced the experience was the exceptional service provided by the staff. A special mention goes to Rino Tang, who was professional, attentive, and always willing to assist with a warm and friendly attitude. His dedication to ensuring guests have a comfortable stay is highly commendable and greatly appreciated. Overall, a pleasant and seamless experience, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

    If you want in room entertainment, this is not the good choice, they don’t have TV. If you are tall, be aware the upper deck, your head will hit the fire alarm! To be very honest, only location near metro is the best part for us.
