Ji Hotel Shanghai Xintiandi Nan Xizang Road

The hotel is about 5 mins from local metro station and also has various shops, cafes and supermarkets nearby. Staff were helpful although not fluent in English and the rooms were really good size, clean and value for money. I would stay again if I visited as it ticked all the boxes for a city holiday.

I had a really pleasant stay at this 3-star hotel and would definitely consider coming back again. It offers great value for money, especially considering the location and overall comfort. One of the biggest highlights is how convenient it is — the hotel is very close to the metro and there’s a nearby supermarket, which made everything so easy during the trip. The room itself was spacious enough to comfortably fit 1 large, 1 medium&1cabin suitcases, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. I was also offered an upgrade to a room with a window, which turned out to be a great decision as it allowed for fresh air and made the stay much more enjoyable. The hotel kindly accommodated my early check-in request as well, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The staff were consistently friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, using Google Translate worked perfectly fine and didn’t cause any major issues. Housekeeping was reliable, with the room cleaned daily, and the self-service laundry room was a big plus — very convenient for travelers. There was a small mishap on the morning of check-out where I got locked out, but it was resolved with some effort despite the language barrier. It didn’t affect my overall experience much. All in all, a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent service for the price. I would happily stay here again

It is not the best hotel but it gets the job done. Room was Spacious for 2 including luggage. Decent bathroom size. Nice bed and pillows. Wifi was okay (but no FB, Google, X, as they were blocked). Big TV but no english channels. Water pressure was good and consistent, though water temperature fluctuates (a hassle during winter). Front desk was eager to assist. And even uses a translator app to communicate at times. Area around hotel was a bit bland. Near the Subway but nothing much around. Need to walk a bit for Starbucks, Convenience store, Mixue, mini mall, and a supermarket. If you feel like walking a lot, Yu Garden, Nanjing Pedestrian street, and the Bund are all accessible. You can also use the subway and buses if you want to. All in all, it was a nice and pleasant stay. Area
