The staff was very nice. after my long travels. I went and got food and brought it back. A burger and fries. I woke up the next morning with bug bites. I was worried about beg bugs so I checked the mattress only to find there were huge cockroaches in the mattress. I was freaked out. I was told it was because I brought food into the room and the room is near the garbages on ground floor. But I have never not been able to bring food into my hotel room before. They quickly moved me to another room and assured me there would not be a problem on this higher floor. I was worried but the lady assured me. I did not have any more problems and was sure not to bring food in again. It was a traumatic experience for me seeing as I hate bugs, I think it would be for anyone. But the staff were very nice at helping. I just dont think I would chance staying somewhere this could happen again.

Can't get much better for the price than this. Around the Bund area, one metro line from the airport, and I got a free room upgrade. The main complaint is that this hotel doesn't actually have laundry even though it's included in the amenities. You have to walk to their other location and hope there's one available. Besides that, everything was as expected. Great for a place to just sleep and travel. Other notes, there is no conditioner, tv is small, AC is weak but will get there, wifi is slow at times.
