    I booked this hotel in advance, stayed four nights altogether, good accommodation, excellent exceptional breakfast ( my Chinese friend thought it was bit expensive but I think it waw worth of price, certainly with the very broad choice of food on offer it was just very good), location also suited me well, not far from metro station ( direct line to North train station or the airport), the staff was helpful, kind, smiley all the time, room was good, comfortable, with all what was needed, we did not use gym or pool but those facilities are there ( I have seen the gym, it has loads of machines, really good), altogether I would stay here again and recommend the hotel.

    Comfy stay but its location could be better. I like their buffet breakfast which has a wide selection of food

    Staff at this hotel never smile. They treat guests as strangers. When I checked in at 9pm with a valid passport, the front desk staff (three of them) left me waiting for more than three minutes with no greeting. I was the only guest then at the front desk. All three staff were busy glaring at the computers pretending they didn’t know I was at the front desk waiting. When they finally finished their job and asked me how they could help. I showed them my online booking confirmation. They then started chatting with each other about getting a language translation app because they don’t understand English. I told them I speak Chinese and gave them my name. They then were able to find me in their system. The man with glasses on checked my passport and then asked me if I had a valid Visa. I had stayed in another hotel in a different city before arriving in Hangzhou. All I was asked for was my passport. I told the man my visa is in my expired passport and showed him the expired passport. The man looked at me with suspicious eyes which makes me very uncomfortable. He finally gave me a room on the 9th floor. The air in the aisle from the elevator to my room was very bad. When I opened the room , the room was not even cleaned up after the previous guest left. It was VERY dirty. I then requested the hotel to get me a different room. They assigned me to a room on the 10th floor (remodeled five years ago). This time the room was OK. The next day I woke up early in the morning. I went downstairs at around 5:45am. I asked a hotel staff on duty what time the hotel starts to serve breakfast. He replied to me “I don’t know. I don’t eat my breakfast here”. I went to the front desk a few times checking for things during my stay there. Each time the front desk staff saw me, they always said, oh, you are a foreigner. Then they asked me what I needed. Overall experience was less than what I had expected. Unprofessional, unfriendly, unwelcoming atmosphere. Do not recommend this hotel.
