Relaxing weekend in a proper home from home!

Spacious lodge for a great family holiday.

Very spacious lodge surrounded by a nice private garden with decking access on three sides.. Very good communication with the owners making access easy.. Plenty of information inside the property to answer all your questions. Well laid out parking area giving good close access to the property . This was a Family Christmas holiday and the lodge had been decorated throughout. The rooms were warm on arrival and the complementary hamper basket including fresh milk( in the fridge) was appreciated. All the lodge advert photos give you a true impression of the property.. Plenty of facilities… to prepare and cook a full Christmas dinner and Boxing Day meals. The paved footpath to Kippford is just across from the lodge entrance ( nice for the doggies). We thoroughly recommend the lodge and hope to return sometime next year to explore further this wonderful area..

A lovely lodge that coul be exceptional with a little more care.

Well situated, large, well equipped, warm, well furnished, comfortable.

This is a lovely property, however it was affected by a long list of snagging issues, that could be easily remedied with a little TLC. There were also issues regarding cleanliness: the baby high chair provided was dirty. There were a number of long black hairs on the bathroom floor in the en-suite, we were all blondes.

Location was great, very peaceful park with only a few lodges. The lodge was lovely and clean, comfortable and there was everything you could need.

Fantastic lodge in a beautiful location

Very well presented, clean and spacious in lovely, quiet location just a short walk down to Kippford. Kitchen facilities were great and received a lovely welcome basket on arrival.

Remember to bring a few grocery essentials as there isn't a shop within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time in a lodge that had everything you could want, especially good Wi-Fi .

Location a real bonus for beach lovers. Quiet private site with lovely wee garden and outdoor space.

Shower in en-suite very noisy. Patio doors a little difficult to open and lock.

Relaxing family holiday

Location is excellent for relaxing and taking long walks by the sea. The property was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact when needed.

Very clean. Luxurious. Plenty of room. Lovely nearby walks. Excellent facilities. Kids loved the WiFi and Sky tv. Welcome basket a nice touch.

Minor mention only that the front door did not easily lock/unlock.
