Its not actually on Cesar Carls but 1 block behind, so you need to take a GPS reading off a map the night before. The area is derelict and a wasteland. But the beach is only 500m away. No English is spoken. OK breakfast.

The hotel is being revamped from the 6th floor, all the way to the ground floor, due to the previous management who was unable to sustain its development.
A new team has taken over and revamping the hotel, insight and out.
The staff is always there to help out whatever your queries.
I stayed 3 nights, the room was cleaned on a daily basis.
The only negativity that I am putting is the noise being made by the fridge, they do a lot of noise and sometimes can be hard to sleep.
If you are thrown into the middle, you will have two rooms, with other fridges and combined they make a rumbling noise.
The breakfast is on the 7th floor, with a variety of food being served. 6 am to 10 am.
The 7th floor offers panoramic views of the praia do futuro, or the futures beach.
The restaurants and other amenities are just a throw stone away, at least, 300/400 meter away.
The cobbled streets require some maintenance, however the hotel is reliant on the Borough to do that and they would need to fork out some money to keep the work up.
The area, due to cover is somehow recovering, with buildings that are in need of attention.
