The team at this property is doing a great job considering that their building could benefit from some updating. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for a couple days while you are in town, then this property is worth consideration. I give the staff five stars and the cleanliness of the property five stars. Some things that could see improvement are the lighting. In particular, at night, in the hallways. I don’t think there’s enough lighting, as it is motion sensitive, but only on approach, not upon entry to the floor. This causes guests to look down a dark hallway, and proceed with faith. In the room, I had a shower that had very wide sliding glass. This would not be a problem, except that I am 5’10, 280 pounds. I literally had to maneuver around this piece of glass and be very careful not to allow my body weight to come into contact with it for fear of damaging it. So taking two showers every day required me to do this gymnastics routine in my bathroom four times each day. It was unpleasant. I was not wild about the breakfast, but that is a personal taste issue. There was nothing objectively wrong with the food. It was fine. The front desk staff was exceptional, very accommodating and very friendly. The housekeepers were very effective and maintained the rooms nicely. I had confidence that everything was clean and sanitary.
