    We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Hobart. The hotel was in great location, with beautiful views and easy access to the city and nearby attractions. A great place to stay in Hobart. We would definitely recommend Crowne Plaza Hobart and would happily stay here again.

    Overall, it’s a nice hotel in the center of the city but I don't like the fact that we have to pay for the vallet parking because they don't have car park. Maybe it’s good for business trip but not for family trips.

    We booked Crown Plaza because we thought it would be nice to try something new in Hobart as we have stayed there many times. The first and last issue was the valet parking. When you drive up, there is no one outside to greet and direct you. Many cars did not know what to do and it caused a traffic jam and many unhappy people. When we left it took 45 min to finally get our car. The staff are all friendly but they don’t have enough of them and they seemed confused so more training is evident. Our checkin and checkout person were the only two who seemed to know what they were doing. We went to the bar about 1 and only one person serving a busy area on a Saturday. We went to dinner for our anniversary and very disappointed in the restaurant, more like a cafeteria style and the picture online looks better than reality. My husband’s barramundi was good but the size was so small the vegetables covered it and at *** would have expected better. My cape grim steak was so tough I had to send back which is very unusual because cape grim is always tender in my experience, and on the plate they had what looked like broccoli and three cherry tomatoes that looked so old and limp I would never eat it. I was offered a replacement however I declined. When we sat down, instead of having one waiter for the night, different people popped in and out and seemed all over the place to the point my husband had to get up to ask someone to take our order. No interaction with the customer, just an iPad and they ask - what would you like. Clearly the young ones aren’t trained on how to deal with customers and engage. Not their fault, bad training. I gave a 3 star only because the room was nice, plenty of towels and beautiful bathroom and decor.
