    Short stay after our flight was cancelled into Cairns and we arrived a day late, but the staff were very good and no issues with check-in. Hotel pool was pretty nice and open until 10pm. The whole complex is a bit dated, feels like it has seen better days, and it's quite far from the CBD although many Ubers around. No restaurant on site anymore, but there is a vending machine with snacks. We also did laundry (dryer/washer both had tap payment) and $1 soap from reception. The room was fine with the balcony but the shower wasn't great and the warnings of keeping all doors locked at night because of the area was ominous. We got picked up from here for our diving liveaboard, but upon our return to land we chose to stay at a different accommodation. There was lots of palms, but not much royale.

    Room was a very good size & newly renovated. Big comfy bed. Nice shower. Outside walkway needs attention. Couldn’t fault the room.
