Guest House Ortigia Calarossa

Fabrizio was a super friendly, helpful and attentive host! He met us to hand over the key upon arrival and gave us recommendations for shops and restaurants. He will give you coupons for a breakfast of coffee and pastry at a nearby cafe (it gets busy, so try to go earlier if you can). The room was very comfortable and charming with all modern amenities, including wifi and excellent air conditioning! The rooftop terrace was even better than expected, including a little kitchenette next to it with glasses and things to have a nice happy hour overlooking the sea. The location was wonderful with easy walking distance to all the key sites and restaurants of Ortigia, yet tucked away on side street offering peace and quiet because there are no crowds or tour groups nearby. Highly recommended for any person or couple visiting Ortigia.

There is no lift, as is the case in many older buildings, but I am not taking points off as this did not bother us at all. We travel only with backpacks and have no mobility issues to go up and down stairs. It is only 1 level up to the room from the entrance.

Location superb for exploring

Posizione invidiabile per visitare il centro di Ortigia, locale pulito e recentemente ristrutturato. Bello il terrazzino all’ultimo piano.

Unica cosa la mancanza di una finestra in camera, c’era solo un abbaino ma siamo abituati ad aperture molto più ampie

Posizione ad un passo dal mare

difficoltà nel parcheggiare
