Such a homely quiet location with great pose value by the iconic steps

It’s beautiful location. It looked fabulous on the pictures.

The reality of its location 280 steps after an evening meal was an unpleasant experience. It was initially damp and cold. Every piece of furniture cover was marked in some way. The open ended stair was an experience fraught with the fear of falling. My wife and I are both very active so I’m not over exaggerating.

The house is in a beautiful location with amazing views. The house was clean and tidy with good equipment. There are places to sit outside with comfortable chairs and tables. The air conditioning was very good and cooled the living room and bedrooms down perfectly. The parking space is good to ha e but a little difficult to get in and out of, especially if you have a bigger car.

Nothing to dislike but be aware there are a lot of steps down to the town, probably around 150 so not for someone with limited physical ability who wants to walk into the town. The car parking space is up the steps from the property, it is good but difficult to manoeuvre. There is alternative parking nearby. If you are staying with small children please be aware the stairs could be dangerous, they have a gap between the metal hand rail and the stair on both levels. There is also no rail at the bottom. It was bot an issue for us as our children are older but would be for younger kids.

I was not aware of the villa's location. Out the front door are roughly 250 ancient stone steps into town. No shortcut around that. My wife had a broken ankle and was still on one crutch. She ventured forth, but the result was that she was in pain through almost the entire vacation. Plus it was 90-100 degrees from about noon to 6pm. All you could do was hide in the air conditioning.
