Delightful home with a charming host.

Janie was the most wonderful host and we had the warmest of welcomes. The property was delightful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fabulous French breakfast. We’d love to come back again.

Beautiful and oh so worthi it

This beautiful place truly exceeded my expectations. Janie was charming and helpful. The room was gorgeous and filled with decorative touches that invited coziness and well-being. The home and garden make you want to stay there longer.... there's a calmness about the place and the light of the Sun simply hit in the perfect places. It reminded me a bit of Tuscany. Breakfast was a cherry on the cake; I sat in front of the pool and contemplated the beauty.

Quiet, peacful, cosy, friendly!!

Close to the motorway. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. We arrived quite late but the hostess helped us book a table at a restaurant in the next village. Comfy beds and a very good breakfast.

The map in Booking.com was not correct. We was directed to a farm 500 m away. According to the farmer it happened frequently, but he was very helpful so finally we found Chez Janie Hirst

Perfect stopover, with character, on our journey north. Janie was friendly and even let us eat our dinner in her kitchen.

Situation idéale à quelques minutes dé Montelimar

Le bruit la nuit des chiens du propriétaire qui les sort sans cesse. La porte de la chambre trop ajourée et donc la lumière allumée par les propriétaires lors de leurs sorties nocturnes. Et enfin , simplement que la réservation ait été oubliée car Janie était malade , donc accueil gentil mais complètement lunaire, chambre glaçiale .. . Et ne pas se savoir attendu créé des craintes sur la façon dont la chambre a été préparée. Nous comprenons cependant qu’une grippe terrible a terrassé nos hôtes .

Apartament molt gran. Hem gaudit molt de la piscina i el jardí. Tot i que era agost i va fer molta calor, amb els ventiladors i les finestres obertes vam dormir molt bé. La Janie és una amfitriona molt agradable. Molt recomanable.

Chez Janie ist etwas für Menschen, die Niveau haben und sich für Menschen interessieren. Es ist familiär, es gibt keine Klimaanlage, dafür gute Stimmung, es gibt wenig Luxus, dafür Stil, das Pool ist größer als erwartet und man benimmt sich, weil man es gerne tut.

Montelimar ist etwas langweilig, dafür gibt es aber jede Menge spannende Plätze rundherum und Janie hat hervorragende Restauranttips
