Mio’s house was delightful, with an excellent location near a train station, a bus stop, and a taxi stand. A 7-11 convenience store is just half a block away. The house is well equipped with two bedrooms upstairs, along with a washer and dryer. There is also a clothes rack on the balcony off one of the bedrooms. Shortly after we arrived, Mio came over to welcome us and to explain how the shower system worked. It was a little confusing at first, as it is different to what we have in the United States, but we were able to figure it out. She also offered us the use of the bicycles and the umbrellas, and even offered to drive us to Kyoto Station on the morning of our departure. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here during your visit to Kyoto. It is truly a great value for the money.

I really liked the location. It was located in a local neighborhood that was away from the central city. It was nice to stay in a home.
