Check in at Kyoto station was good for us as that’s where our train got in. Check in was quick and easy. Apartment was clean modern and had lots of helpful Features. Didn’t hear any noise from the building work round the corner or from other apartments. Room was spacious compared to others and we thought it was really good value for money. The location was good, in a slightly quieter part of town but with plenty of restaurants with a minute or two walk. Air con was great.
Nothing really. You can’t go on the balcony but we didn’t expect to anyway so wasn’t a problem.

It was clean, new and very practical.
A drying cloth for the fiches would have been useful.

Nice new clean facilities
Be aware of additional fees - price might look good but you'll have a cleaning fee + accommodation tax added(preferably in cash). Additionally, you'll be heavily lectured while picking up the keys in a totally different place from your hotel (20min away). You cannot use the balcony or even open it + every wrong move has heavy fees (luckily, we didn't get any). Additionally, we needed to reach out to booking.com to get a refund for one cleaning fee, as it didn't happen and we didn't get our money back until contacting booking.com support
