it was really spacious. just had a hardtime opening the door but overall it was convenient when it comes for the bus station to go on different castles or temples

we had a bit of waiting for the check in because i didnt get the instruction check in in my mail so i had to email them on the spot and luckily it was a fast reply 🌟 fyi, it was unmanned lobby/ check in. so make sure u got it before arriving here to make it ease for u. the location was not central but im fine with it, its quite neighbourhood but easy to catch bus and big supermarket. in the evening i took kids to play at the water canal nearby and one morning i went for a jog around nijo castle. overall, love my stay here.

First the positive stuff. The room itself was nice. It had 2 toilets, a shower, a kitchen area and two beds. It’s with in 800 meters of a subway entrance that is an easy walk to get to.
Now the bad - The only way to get in is with a confirmation message the day of your arrival. Many families could not get into a room until late into the evening while they waited for a message with the access code. For travelers without a Japanese phone it's very difficult to get help.
My other complaint - the building has a smoking area INSIDE the building as soon as you enter. There's no way to avoid the awful smell of smoke. We had a "non-smoking room" but we could smell smoke all the time.
