The Gin Palace with seasonal swimming pool

Beautiful location and a helpful and friendly host. The cottage is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The swimming pool is an amazing bonus and we enjoyed a glass of fizz on the sunset bench to celebrate our anniversary!Ellesmere is a lovely little town up the road, with nice cafés and bars. Will definitely return in the near future. Ps the boat inn and the cross foxes in Erbistock are cracking pubs.

What I Beautiful and amazing place the view from my cabin was amazing the host John was there to meet and greet us such a friendly guy and I would recommend booking this as I will be booking it again amazing

The location was lovely, and the host was friendly on arrival.

Well, where can I start ? There are very mixed reviews on here, and I want to be completely honest. The palace was dusty and dirty throughout , and many pictures proved this. To have no running hot water to wash our hands and cutlery and plates are very basic, and to me, should always be provided. The house is very cold , the wood burner is cosy but once you move to the bathroom, kitchen or bedroom it's cold. The oil filled radiators do not give much heat either and will eat up your coins you have to put in the meter. . I loved the location and host, but because of the facilities and cleanliness, we decided to leave a day early . Very disappointed overall. SORRY JOHN
