We have stayed at this complex a few times but normally top floor beachfront. This first floor unit was perfect for us since I’m recovering from knee replacement. The large dune is in the way from seeing the ocean but you can still hear the waves crashing. The unit has everything you need & the lanai is a wonderful spot to enjoy anytime of the day. The unit could use a bit of updating but overall very nice. We love the location of Island South!

The location of this condo can’t be beat! The ocean is literally in the back yard- the water view is blocked by the dunes however the sound of waves are easily heard. Walking distance from the condo are kookaburra coffee (I had a flat white daily 💜), excellent burritos, Mango Mango, & Stir It Up. Old town is a short drive or Uber away. We rented bikes from Drifters which was an excellent experience.
The condo itself had slightly worn living furniture and direct AM sun on the deck with no black out curtains in the bedroom. If you’re a late sleeper you won’t be on this trip!
Bathrooms are adequate, kitchen is well
stocked, and the washer/dryer are new Samsungs.
We had a wonderful week with the older kids (20 & 17)- a terrific vacation to remember.

This beachfront location was perfect as our two families gathered to witness the shoreline proposal of our Son to his Fiancé. She said YES! So we said yes to a beach picnic, splashing in the waves, and volleyball, followed by an evening of conversation, lite fare, and champagne. And we never left this fabulous property!
