About this house rental
Idyllic 3-bd, 3 full bath mountain hideaway in a beautiful woodland setting with a rushing mountain stream running next to the back deck, complete with cascading waterfalls, in the quaint mountain town of Banner Elk!
Across the stream, we back up to Grandfather Mountain. Private access to hike Grandfather Mountain Profile Trail from our driveway.
We are 3 minutes from Sugar Mountain, and very close to all area attractions: Boone, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain, Mast General Store, Linville, and more!
Brand new air conditioning units in the downstairs queen bedroom (window unit) and upstairs master bedroom (stand alone unit).
Remote work desktop monitor and desk in master bedroom with 300mbps of internet so speeds are not interrupted.
When booking, feel free to reach out and ask about our $500 security deposit option!(currently we are only allowed the choice of $60 insurance or a $1,500 security deposit by default)

None of the rentals in this area is perfect but we really enjoyed this one!! Very well laid out condo… plenty of places for everyone to sleep!! Comfy furniture and easy to use tv. The real kicker tho is the location…. We spent ALL of our time playing in the creek out back and hiking up to Foscoe Overlook. You can pick up the trail just across the creek. The huge deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. Quick trip up to great restaurants in Banner Elk, and Lowe’s Foods just up the road for cooking in!! Could it be a little cleaner?? Maybe. But they are literally all like that in the area so I’m guessing this one is as clean as it’s gonna get in Boone and it was fine. Well stocked kitchen too and plenty of blankets for cool evenings!! Really great place to stay for a family of four with extra beds in case the kids bring friends!!!

Great stay! Very conveniently located by Grandfather Mtn with trail access. The condo is very spacious and has lots of privacy.
