About this house rental
The 150-square-meter house, spread over two floors, sits on 2,000 square meters of land—700 of which are fenced—in a small hamlet of about ten homes. Set back from busy roads, the location guarantees absolute peace and quiet, as well as opportunities for walks through the fields.
However, you’re only a 10- to 15-minute drive from neighboring villages and towns (Loudun, Richelieu, La Roche-Rigault...) where you’ll find lovely farmers’ markets with local producers (if you’re a fan of goat cheese, you’re in for a treat!), large grocery stores and organic convenience stores, numerous bakeries, as well as supermarkets and big-box stores for more traditional shopping.
Just a little further away (a 20-minute drive from the house), you’ll reach Chinon, where—in addition to walks and cultural visits—you can enjoy the town’s many restaurants as well as its wine cellars and vineyards. If you enjoy water parks, you can also visit Center Parcs des Trois-Moutiers
In 30 minutes, you’ll be in Thouars or Fontevraud-Labbaye.
A 40-minute drive will take you to Saumur or Azay-le-Rideau:
A one-hour drive will take you to Poitiers, Tours, or Châtellerault.
