The property was in immaculate condition. Super clean. The building was secure and felt safe. The parking wasn’t as bad as we anticipated and were able to find a spot every time we were in and out. There were some classy eating area in walking distances and driving wasn’t bad for something a little less fancy.

Mercantile on Morris is the perfect spot to stay while you explore all that downtown Birmingham has to offer. We just got back from a weekend trip exploring the fantastic food scene in Birmingham and could not have picked a better home base. Located in the up and coming downtown area of Birmingham, AL, Mercantile on Morris is steps away from some of the best restaurants in the country. It's directly across the street from Adios, which was nominated for best bar in America. And it's steps away from my favorite restaurant on the planet- Helen, which was voted best new restaurant in America as well as nominated for a James Beard Award. Pizza Grace is just downstairs, and was also nominated for a James Beard Award.
The unit itself has all you could ever need for a great stay. Amazing decor, top end appliances, and a shared balcony with great views of downtown.
So, find some time to explore downtown Birmingham and discover all that this great Southern town has to offer. And check out Mercantile on Morris. You won't regret it

Great location in close proximity to several restaurants. The place was a studio with 1 bathroom and a full kitchen. The place was clean and offered wifi with a Roku TV. Ive stayed in this area previously, which is why i chose the same building of condos. There was only two of us staying at the place as it only sleeps two. The areas that would prevent me from staying here again are mainly the uncomfortable bed which was a platform bed with no box spring. There was also only 2 coffee pods, 2 towels. It would have been nice to have an extra one just in case. Those are menial complaints though.
