The view the view the view, the beds were very very comfortable , the host very very welcoming and it had fantastic air conditioning which is a must in August. Location, location, location. We really enjoyed our stay in Bastia, hired a car, took the train to Corte (very reasonable and WOW, scenic) and you could walk to everything inc. beach, supermarket, restaurants, shops, including the old town (but you have to be fit as it was hot and the hill back is steep!).
Nothing really that we didn’t like. For an amazing view is a big hill, it’s fairly steep so wouldn’t suit elderly or infirm unless you have a car. A few things that could make it a 9/10. Sofa has seen better days but we were out most of the time, a kettle (for the tea) and as UK visitors, the cash deposit is very large one and a bit worrying, its something we only see on the continent but Jean-Pierre a good guy and very trustworthy. We would stay here again - 100%, it suited our requirements

Unforgettable view, cleanliness and kindness of the owners.
Perfect place and we liked everthing. Just a couple of suggestion for guest convienence, it would be nice to add wi-fi and a small safe to keep your belongings.

The host and facilities were amazing! We could not have asked for a nicer location, view or amenities. Everything we needed to cook and relax were onsite. The host provided referrals for car rentals, beach suggestions and assistance with getting groceries. I would highly recommend!
