I highly recommend this place.

We were very pleased with our stay in this lovely and atmospheric house. The house is very tidy and clean, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the barbecue facilities were excellent. The swimming pool is clean and a good size. Bernadette responds to messages quickly, and she is very helpful and friendly. There's a nice wine bar and a vegetable shop just across the street. A good grocery store is located nearby. The old town is within a pleasant walking distance, and a taxi is available if needed.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The owner Bernadette could not have been more lovely and helpful

Perfect house for staying with small kids not too far from city walls

This was a great terrace house where the owners occupy the other two apartements. There's enough privacy and you can mingle with the locals if you wish. Two cats and a friendly small dog make a great company for the kids. You can borrow (for free) 4 bikes to pedal 1km to the city walls where there's innumerable number of restaurants and cafes to eat out. If you don't then the shop is around the corner, cafe is across the street and a pizzeria is one block away. Home made limoncello is provided by the owners if you're friendly :) Lemons and fresh laid chicken eggs are provided as fast as you're able to consume them. The house actually has extra small rooms with extra two beds, so you can acommodate kids or get your own private quarters, if you wish. Kids can safely play outside since the garden is fenced off from the street.

April time requires heating, so the house was a little cold/damp in the beginning but owners put the heating on and the spring sun heated the house up nicely. Some people could complain about beds/pillows, but I thought they were just fine. A couple of times there were issues with warm water but the plumber fixed this in a day and it was smooth sailing from then on. If there are issues, you get help almost immediately.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Corte dell'Arancio. Benedetta and family were fantastic friendly hosts and were keen to help before and during out stay. Highly recommended. Bikes provided and only a 10 minute cycle to the centre of Lucca.

Very friendly owners , made to feel very welcome.

The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have made us feel more welcome.

There was no air conditioning in the apartment so the upper floors were too hot but we had some fans. The outside space for our apartment was not very private. Could do with 2 bathrooms or even a second toilet in an apartment that potentially can sleep 7/8.

Well appointed. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Couldn’t do enough for us.

No Air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom and with very high temperatures and only a small fan it was difficult to sleep.

Lucca is a lovely city and the house was comfortable and clean.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful and they reorganised rooms and repaired a door lock on arrival .Lucca is a wonderful city with good road and rail a access to explore the rest of Tuscany

It was disappointing to find that there was only one internal bathroom and toilet
