Hotel Don Marcos

El hotel es acogedor y está en una zona tranquila y silenciosa. Se agradece el contacto con la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, el sitio es perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana, despertar escuchando a los pajaros y un buen desayuno. Decoracion rústica agradable y bonitas vistas al castillo. Aunque tiene varios peros...

El precio que pagas no vale los servicios que ofrece. Carece de cualquier servicio, ni una máquina de vending en caso de que quieras alguna bebida, y la cafetería cerrada salvo para el desayuno (un poco caro para lo que ofrece). La piscina parece agradable pero está sucia y nadie la limpió el tiempo que estuvimos. Con nosotros fueron muy estrictos con la hora del check out (12.00). Entendimos que había que dejar la habitación a la hora indicada, pero no nos permitieron dejar las cosas en consigna para estar un rato mas en la piscina. De manera que realmente no estás allí todo el fin de semana completo porque a las 12.00 estas fuera... En definitiva, pagas por cinco estrellas que no lo son en realidad.

Lugar bonito, tranquilo y en un entorno maravilloso.

Falta personal y a algunas horas ni siquiera está el bar abierto.

Pequeño hotel rural con mucho encanto. Las habitaciones están decoradas de forma muy original y con gran atención al detalle, con objetos y muebles de fabricación artesanal.

Desayuno con productos industriales

The location and the view in the castle is beautiful. There is a kinder playground and a relatively small but pleasant swimming pool. We liked the decoration in the rooms made of wood and with clay sinks and big windows. The mosaics made of little stones are very nice.

Althought given the nice location and the positive points mentioned above, we would normally give a highee rate to such a hotel but we had a very unpleasant experience with the owner of the hotel. We were contacted by the hotel before arrival concerning suplementary beds for kids and after some exchanges via the booking app we were reassured by the hotel that they would arrange it without additional costs so we were expecting that everything was in order and ready for our arrival. However, when we arrived the first we heard from the hotel owner was that she didnt appreciate the exchanges via the booking app that we were not enough grateful and she started a stressful and very emotional, confrontational and hostile discussion, which was the last thing we needed after 600 Km by car with 3 little kids in a very hot day. This provoked a very unpleasant situation with the owner calling another staff member to check us in as she said "she was also human" and she could not "tollerate" the situation in fact she had created herself upon our arrival. After the check in we thought we would be left in peace but when I asked whether the restaurant was open, she restarted the discussion by saying that herself and her staff were angry at me/us. My wife was trembling of stress (very bad for her as she recently finished a very difficult medical treatment) and we finally decided to go to eat somewhere else which was not easy being in such a small place where we didnt know where to go, late and with small kids, and with my oldest son's girlfriend suffering from diabets. As we were afraid to use any services, we left the day after without eating breakfast in the hotel.
