Ducky's

A lovely cottage, ideally located for exploring Pickering and the wider area. A lovely outdoor area too.

The location was very good, with an easy walk into the centre of Pickering. The property was clean and well furbished, with the kitchen well-stocked in terms of pans and utensils. The provided directions to access the property were also very clear in terms of parking.

No real issues with the property in terms of our stay. The road noise from within the front (main) bedroom can be a bit loud, so perhaps take earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Good location & parking facilities Milk & biscuits were a welcome addition to our evening arrival. Host was helpful and easy to reach via mobile number when we required assistance.

Water pressure and temperature were not great, especially when wanting a bath. We arrived in the dark so could not see well enough to make out where to park.The double gates mentioned in the information were actually open, so that area was too dark to see what was over there. (If you keep straight ahead when you pull into the rear of the properties, you will see #83 on the right-hand post, the parking area.is through that gap).

Good location & property had 3 separate bedrooms. Also good off road parking.

Not really an issue but we weren't sure whether we needed to strip the beds or not - nothing in the on site folder about it. In the end we did because we saw some laundry bags in the bedrooms.
