About this house rental
Located on 10 acres consisting of woodland, meadows and trails, in Vermont's Green Mountains. 2 unit house, offering amazing view of the mountains and meadows in a serene setting. Nearby attractions include Horse Show and Vermont Summer Festival, Hiking, Camping, Hunting, Fishing, Swimming (Emerald Lake or Marble Quarry), Golfing, Skiing, Shops (Antique and Manchester Designer Outlets), and Farms. Please read everything before booking.
Each unit has a separate entrance, and the whole house can accommodate up to 14 guests (please reach out if you have more people - we may be able to accommodate more guests). Upper unit has 4 bedrooms (two with king size beds and several toddler beds, one with two queen beds, and one with two twin beds), 2 bathrooms (one with jacuzzi and another with a stand up shower, washer, and dryer), and a kitchen (with dishwasher). The lower unit has 2 bedrooms (one with queen size bed and another with two bunk beds, there is also queen size sofa bed in the living room), bathroom (with heated floors and towel warmer), and kitchen (with dishwasher and a washer/dryer combo unit).
The upper unit main level has an open floor plan comprised of a living room, dining area, and kitchen. (The main level also includes 3 bedrooms and the jacuzzi bathroom.) The living room and dining area are surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, which provide an abundance of natural light and great unobstructed views. Large comfortable sofas surround the wood burning stove, making it a perfect place to read, watch TV, play games or just relax. From the living room, there is an entrance to the deck with a stunning view of the valley. Stairs will take you to the top floor where you will find another bathroom and bedroom, with even more breathtaking views; there you will also find toys for kids.
The lower unit also offers an open floor plan, which includes a kitchen, living room, and dining area that can fit 20 guests. The living room and dining area are also surrounded by large windows, which provide natural light and great views. Comfortable leather sofas are set up across the wood burning stove, making it a cozy place for read, watch TV, play games, and relax. Kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and well equipped to meet all your cooking needs.
The backyard has a firepit, lots of seating space and tables. During summer, you will have the choice of indoor and outdoor dining. We also have outdoor toys and a trampoline in front of the house for kids.

Overall a gorgeous house in a gorgeous setting! I had my wedding here and we had a phenomenal backdrop of the mountains! It had a good amount of space for all of my family and friends to have their own spaces. Galina was a fantastic host, so responsive and super flexible! The outdoor area looks fairly different from the listing photos. There is no real backyard under the porch, it is a little more overgrown than the photos. Not a big deal, the firepit area had a nice view and flat area. There were not enough towels provided for a 14 person house, not a huge problem, just bring your own if its a full house. Only half of the outlets are working and some of the rooms only have 1 small working lamp due to the outlet issue. Overall it is a beautiful house and it was perfect for my small wedding! The two kitchens were a huge plus as well! This place is a gem!

Great house with beautiful views and quick access to trails and more. We had a wonderful stay with family including young children and preteens and the house was fantastic to host dinners with family that live locally. The location is near everything but secluded enough to feel like we were in the wilderness - loved it.

This space was perfect for our large ground gathering. We had plenty of space, and the views were unmatched.
There are many hiking trail heads nearby, and also took a dip in the Dorset Quarry, which was a great time.
The hosts were also AMAZING. Communication was fantastic, and they checked in with us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed.
The bonus was that the home has a Tesla Powerwall, and even though the power went out in the area, we never even knew it!
