About this apartment rental
Apartment No. 7 isn’t just for design enthusiasts, but for anyone who values a chic yet cozy living environment—even while on vacation.
Our dog-friendly vacation rental was recently renovated and features modern, high-quality furnishings.
Four windows open the room up to the west. Somewhere on the horizon, you can see the Aussichtsdüne dune and the lighthouse. And toward evening—weather permitting—a spectacular sunset. That’s why Apartment 7 is our absolute favorite for the “blue hour.”
In the living area, you can relax wonderfully on the large velvet sofa. The wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere and provides pleasant warmth on cooler days. Firewood is available for a small fee.
Kitchen & Dining Area:
The long kitchenette is equipped with everything you need, including an induction cooktop with range hood, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and French press.
The dining area features a round table right by the window and two comfortable chairs.
Bedroom:
The 160 cm wide bed is equipped with a comfortable hybrid mattress. It combines the adaptability of a solid foam mattress with the bounce and breathability of a spring mattress. Since the bed is located in an alcove, access is only possible from one side. Bedding is included.
Please note that Apartment 6 is unfortunately not suitable for small children. However, children aged 12 and older are welcome.

The outdoor area:
TIDE4 is situated on slightly elevated ground on a 2,000-square-meter property. In 2024, we began redesigning the area around the house and transforming it into a natural dune garden. Sand, dune grass, and pine bushes. In between, boardwalks and beach chairs. By the way, each apartment has its own beach chair available.
The location:
Our guesthouse is located on a quiet side street in Wittdün. Wittdün is like a small corner at the southern tip of the island. This is where the ferries from the mainland and from Föhr arrive. And nowhere else on the island is the sea as close as it is here. This location “between the seas” is what makes it so special. On one side, barely 100 meters away, lies the Wadden Sea; on the other, the expansive Kniepsand and the endless dune landscape of Amrum. But the small town center of Wittdün—with all the shops for daily needs, restaurants, and our favorite beach bar overlooking the vast beach—isn’t far either.
The island:
Amrum is all about peace and slowing down. The endless beaches, the wide horizon, and the unspoiled natural beauty are good for the soul and guarantee a relaxing vacation. Yet life on this small island in the heart of the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is anything but boring. You can set out on wonderful walks right from the house. The Wadden Sea and the expansive Kniepsand—one of Europe’s largest sandy beaches—are just a few minutes’ walk away. This is also where the Dune Nature Trail begins—one of the many boardwalks that branch out across Amrum’s unique dune landscape. A long walk through the woods is also possible, as Amrum, with approximately 200 hectares of forest, is actually the most forested island on the North Sea coast. Those who’d like to explore Amrum by bike can cycle all the way around the island via the well-developed network of bike paths. One of the highlights is undoubtedly a mudflat hike. On the guided tours from Amrum to Föhr, you can explore the fascinating world of the Wadden Sea and perhaps even spot a seal or two.

On Amrum, a visitor’s tax applies to all guests aged 18 and older; this tax is calculated based on the travel period and is charged by us as an additional fee. Children and adolescents under 18 traveling with their parents or a legal guardian (except on group tours) are exempt from this tax. In addition, people with a “B” on their disability ID card and their accompanying person are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
