Le logement est très proche du centre. Notre hôte était très réactif aux messages donc la communication était parfaite .

It was clean and well located.

So many things not to like: - Check in process. The host kept us waiting outside in the hot sun for a long time before they showed up to let us in. We had already been on a 6 hour plus train journey and walk through the city. We were not impressed. They preferred not to use the key safe to give entry and wanted to meet with guests. But they are not based at the property and there were issues arranging for them to meet us onsite to give access when we arrived. - The host then insisted we sign a long separate legal document 'lease agreement' which had many problematic aspects. They insisted this was standard even though I've been travelling through Italy for many weeks and had not been asked to sign anything like this. They became pretty rude and insistent when I expressed concerns about having to sign a long document in a foreign language I didn't understand. - They only gave us a key for downstairs entry and not the actual key to the apartment. It took a bit of back and forth to get this sorted. They said they only had one key and would need to replace the whole door if we lost it. - The house is not well equipped. Eg: There was a tiny micro rack to hang beach washing to dry that fit about 3 items. Not ideal for a family holiday by the beach. A simple bigger fold out/fold town rack like most other places we've stayed is surely needed. Especially for a location to close to the beach. The kitchen was the worst equipped I've seen so far too. Some extremely cheap an old saucepans etc that I wouldn't even use camping. No basic refreshments like cold water in the fridge on arrival. Fithy old sponges etc to use to clean dishes. This was a disappointing and stressful experience. Especially for the cost. The town is lovely and I wish we had have booked elsewhere.
