The hosts were very nice and helpful. They responded immediately when we needed assistance. The cabin is located near the the town of East Durham with easy access to some lovely hiking.
The cabin was not as advertised and did not match the photos. It did not have two bedrooms (or any bedrooms)--it was one open room with a kitchenette at one end, bunk beds at the other end, a sofa/futon in the middle, a fold-out table (that had to be folded up and stored in order to open the futon), and a loft bed. There was one thin blanket for each bed. We didn't use the outdoor shower because the weather was cold and rainy. The bathroom was a toilet only--no sink--and when you closed the door your knees hit it. The fuse blew when we used the coffee maker and the space heater simultaneously. There was a giant cobweb above the sofa. The lighter provided for the barbecue was empty. Honestly, most of this would have been ok if it had been advertised as a rustic, basic, one-room cabin--for a lot less money. As it was, we were pretty disappointed.
