It was a lovely property space and comfort wise, especially the beds but does needs a little attention.

The back small bedroom window didn’t open at all as the key had been lost a while ago. There was no indoor door mat and as it was raining all weekend the hallway got a bit soggy. There was a huge amount of cupboard space but not much kitchen accessories, no beer glasses, small dinner plates and sides of cupboards cracked and gaping.

Everything. Fantastic location. Great space. There were three of us but could easily cater for six.

For being an old Victorian house it was spacious and in good condition

The parking was on a very busy road and I had to park half on the pavement. The shower was in a high bath and inaccessible for my wife and her friend mid 60’s early 70’s. We weren’t happy with the cleanliness of the fridge freezer and shower bath too. (I’ve informed the owner of these complaints) we were to stay 2 nights but only stayed one because of these. I received no offer of compensation. Just acknowledgement of complaints.

It was a great stay. Everything you needed was there and more. The beds was of good quality. The kitchen/living room added value to our stay! Thank you for the small gifts, it was highly appreciated. The area is excellent, thank you to our hosts!

Exceptional property. Very easy to communicate with the hosts. The welcome basket on arrival was a lovley touch. The rooms were clean, light and the little extra touches were fantastic. It made our stay for work like being at home. We have recommended to our colleagues.

The location was close the area that I had visited and was thus very convenient to all the sites that we intended to visit.

The decor and layout of the house was lovely. Location for us was very good! Overall facilities were good too! House was comfortable to live in and would definitely come back!

The beds were not very comfortable. There was very little amount of cutlery. It seemed as though the bedrooms hadn't been vacuumed? To use the ovens, we had to find the main switches for them hidden in the cupboards above, this was not stated in the booklet provided with the house.

Collection of keys was very convenient, the location of the house was good, the welcome pack and treats were sweet and the cost of the accomodation was low in comparison to others in the area.

The house was not cleaned to a good standard. The areas had been cleaned with a dirty cloth so smears everywhere, external windows were not clean, under couches and beds had not been cleaned.... we found a lighter under the bed our kids were sleeping in. The beds had very poor mattresses and pillows. The photos on the website were obviously taken a long time ago...even the washing machine and dryer are not as per the photos. Insufficient towels were provided.

As a family of 5 visiting, 2 of our kids are autistic, the other has ADHD, we find it hard to travel anywhere with them and make sure they are comfortable, in this case it was effortless, the house really was like a home away from home, the various teddies around the house, the board games, and whole house in general was just very homely and all 3 of my kids really relaxed and enjoyed the 3 night stay. The welcome basket was a lovely touch too.

The only thing I would be slightly negative about was there just being 1 bathroom, but it wasn't something that would prevent us from staying there again either.

This house was spotless and a home from home. Lovely touches from the host, including the welcome pack with lots of local information booklets. They had crisps, biscuits and home baking + an Easter egg and mini eggs. Also, tea coffee and bottled water and fizzy juice. The bathroom is fully stocked with products. There were 3 teles, so for that chilled time it saved any arguments about Netflix or amazon prime. The location is only a 10 min walk from the city centre which has plenty of shops and cafes.

The only downside, the front room is very noisy as it looks out onto the main Antrim road. This is very busy with traffic even late on at night, so light sleepers should pick another room.

This house may have been lovely once as per the photos. Now it is tired and dirty. Other reviewers have commented on this over a period of time and clearly no remedial action has been taken. Insufficient towels and cutlery. Uncomfortable beds and pillows Broken kitchen furniture. Sockets too far away when sitting or sleeping. No socket at one side of bed in main bedroom. Oven dirty Behind sofas dirty. Had to bring owner's attention to overpowering oil smell. Response was quick and it improved. But it did not disappear and was unpleasant. Window locked in back bedroom. No key available despite request. Some light bulbs not working. Some switches broken. Bath is very high thus difficult for older or less able person. No bath mat or safety mat or handle. Shower controls not straightforward A pity.

We chose the location so can't moan about that. Although no off road parking but again was aware of that..just wasn't aware Road would be so busy so concerned about car potentially being hit but as I say was aware.

Sorry to say... kitchen was dirty. Smear marks on kitchen cupboards and appliances and rear kitchen door. No cover on the ironing board so had to use a towel. There was a welcome pack but sadly no milk or bread to make an adhoc drink or maybe some toast the following morning. Even a mini multi pack of cereal would have been a nice touch. Sadly there were hairs on the edge of the bath. I checked the initial reviews on booking the property and the reviews looked positive however on getting into the property I dug deeper and found other reviews highlighting the issues I'd found. I only wish I'd done that at the point of booking. I was there for one night due to a family funeral so only needed a base for the night but had it been for longer I would've been looking for a refund. I have taken photos should the owner wish to take me up on what I've written.

Excellent location, plenty of room and good facilities.

There was no off road parking, the only option was to park outside the property on a very busy main road.

The house is a beautiful renovated Victorian house which is quite spacious and value for money. The location was great. The owner has left us treats on arrival which was really nice. There were toys and board games which were loved by the kids. We had a lovely stay and a good night sleep.

Lovely house, good size with everything we needed for our stay. We only stopped for the 1 night but it was really quick and easy to get to from the ferry crossing. The host was very responsive to messages and left a nice welcome pack and lots of chocolate, sweets and homemade treats which went down very well after a long day travelling and the kids loved finding sweets on their bed! Thank you

Although the house was clean and tidy on initial inspection we noticed that the bathroom had a layer of dust and a few hairs around the sink, maybe it’s not been occupied for a while but otherwise there were no problems and would recommend.

Stunning home, very clean and modern. Lots of room. Left lots of lovely snacks which were much appreciated after travelling. Local takeaways and shops etc and host was lovely and very quick to get back to queries around my young daughter staying!

Easy access with keypad code. A lovely welcome pack with homemade biscuits. Comfortable beds. Close to a supermarket and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very spacious house. 15min in a taxi from larchfield estate to the wedding we were attending

One of the guests doesn't have great mobility so struggled with the low sofas and bar stools in kitchen. Perhaps a higher armchair or a table with chairs in the front room
