Okay for one night

The location was nice, very close to the main road and didn’t require driving up any extra hills.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. The fridge was very loud for some reason and it was hard to sleep while it was turned on. There were many bugs in the room.

the host didnt speak english, and the address was confusing. You should search for the name of the property on the maps, not copy and paste the address. The building and facilities were old, but worked.

Hotel for exceptional case.

Fan, provided breakfast in the room, big room with 2 extra beds, kitchen. Coffee machine. Parking.

Very dirty room. Died insects on the walls and in corners. Spiders net everywhere ( ceiling, bra, walls). Lack of shower accessories(only liquid soap). Broken shower, cold water problems.

Really nice people running this Hotel! Welcomed us and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants etc. The room was a great size for 4 people, all clean and tidy and comfortable! The town it is in is really nice with some good restaurant options and bakeries .

Very convenient for anyone crossing the Brenner Pass, but even the small town itself is a lovely place. Pension is well equipped and the staff friendly.

One of the beds was a little narrower, but exactly as advertised (and no problems for children).

Staff is very welcoming, Matrei is a very nice place (as well as being close to the Brenner Pass, which is a reason of stay for most of the guests).

I'm giving this a 10 because there was very cold outside, and yet the room temperature never dropped, and the water was hot and with excellent pressure. What was a bit odd was learning at 9.55 that the checkout is at 10 am. I have never been in a hotel that requires check out before 10 am. That was a bit of a surprise. The owner waited for us til 10.25 but didn't look very happy about it. Hard to tell with german/austrian people. They are hard to read, but the service offered was beyond any reproach.

Check out before 10 am is a bit unusual.

You have to take a train to reach Innsbruck and it pass only once every our.
