Casa Inca Calais - Appart Amazonas - Parking Free, Station

The apartment was lovely and offered so much they had thoughy of every thing. There was genuinely something for the whole family. The basement was a real highlight; it was amazing, and we had to prise our girls out of the hammock! It was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great, making it easy to explore the area, and the parking was a huge bonus. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.

The only thing we didnt like was we had to leave to go home.

Right at the train station. Excellent kitchen, with everything you need. Spacious. Very clean and well cared for.

Some beds were a little untraditional, but still comfortable.

Nice, clean apartment On the ground floor amazing play area for kids, my little ones enjoyed it so much. Washing and drying machine was very helpful for us after 3 days driving. Couple of minutes drive to ferry port.

The apartment was easy to find and clear instructions given by the host (did need internet access to get the instructions for access to the property as the message came through on the booking.com app the day before). Convenient location for the eurotunnel, and for Calais Beach (where we saw the dragon) and supermarkets. The apartment was clean and everything you could possibly need was provided - kitchen supplies, lots of clean towels, toiletries, nice bedding, comfortable beds, a washer and dryer. Lots of little extras like bottled water, some cereal and snacks. Dishwasher, big fridge, really well equipped place. Lots of thought has gone into the decor theme and the amount of toys and stuff provided in the basement was amazing. Brilliant for children, a huge TV down there with netflix. Good free WiFi. Nice big bath, seperare shower with good water pressure. Free parking (though it gets very full and we struggled to get a space on the second day).

2 of the double beds are in a windowless cellar. If I had read enough reviews beforehand I would have seen this and honestly I would not have booked it. It wouldn't be legal as a bedroom in the UK as its not considered safe, and I'm sure France has different laws but it was a bad place for asthmatics to sleep and I think it should be made clear in the listing that half the sleeping places are in a cellar. There is aircon and a dehumidifier down there, and a lot of air fresheners to improve the smell, and as a games room it's absolutely fine, but I truly don't think it's a suitable place for a bedroom with no window or means of escape in an emergency. The listing does say 2 bedrooms, which is true as one room and one curtained off area are on the ground floor, but it also says it sleeps 8, which means 4 people in the cellar. There is only 1 small window in the whole apartment which makes it quite hard to air properly. The flat was VERY noisy. I have never stayed anywhere quite so noisy. I know the owner says in other reviews they've done what they can with soundproofing, and they kindly provide eye masks and ear plugs, but I found it too noisy, especially in the one actual bedroom in the apartment. It seemed like I heard every voice, footstep, and toilet flush in every one of the surrounding flats at night. There is one seperate toilet, again with no window. It's good that it's seperate, but for me 1 toilet is not enough for somewhere that is supposed to sleep 8. It was also quite smelly in the tiny room. The kettle switch was broken so you had to hold it down to boil the kettle but this was a minor concern. Overall it was an interesting experience but I absolutely would not be returning.

Toddlers adored the place for obvious reasons - the cellar is superb! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, convenient location, great communication from host

If sleeping downstairs, you can hear the people upstairs moving around. Didn't bother us too much as only really happened in the morning anyway.

Perfect for a family, lots to keep the children occupied, perfect for us to relax too 😊 Host left cereal and juice for breakfast which was lovely. Great location near to Eurotunnel
