Beautiful place, comfy beds, charming decor, hot tub was A!

We stayed in island park at Melvin’s Retreat to be near Yellowstone west entrance . We wanted the feeling of being away in the country but reasonable drive distance. We arrived daily at west entrance around 6-6:30 am and did not have any lines . We toured Yellowstone 3 days and then went to grand Tetons. We left very very early to drive through Teton pass just as sunrise was coming. Made it to Jenny lake about 7:15 with about a 25 min wait . We were also very close to Henry’s lake and Mesa falls which was also beautiful. Cabin was spacious w two living areas , well stocked kitchen. Host were very responsive immediately to any questions.

Everything about our stay was perfect; from the floor plan, tasteful and cozy decor, responsiveness of host (above and beyond), location, amenities and supplies. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.
