About this house rental
Two wooden huts, typical of the Cap-Ferret peninsula:
It is a family house composed of 2 wooden cabins typical of the Arcachon basin.
The largest offers 70m2 and a mezzanine of 25m2. It is composed of 4 bedrooms and a mezzanine bedroom (2 beds of 140 and 2 beds of 160cm) as well as 2 bathrooms. All the bedrooms have their independent access to preserve the rhythm of everyone's holidays. In the large bedroom, in addition to the bed, you will find a sofa bed.
This room also offers access to the large mezzanine: the children's/teenagers' area is composed of 3 single beds, TV, Wii, Apple TV...
Separated by a garden, hammocks, a large barbecue and a duckboard path, the second cabin is a beautiful living space of 30m2. It offers you a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room.
The living room is very comfortable, with its fireplace and its large television equipped with all streaming services (Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon prime, Canal+, Disney+)
Through the bay window you access the superb duckboard terrace to succumb to the hypnotic view of the pool in front of the property.
The house is 40 m from the beach. A 5 minute walk you will find: the supermarket, the port, the nautical club, the oyster tasting huts, the beach club for children, the shops bakery -the famous white dunes- the ice cream parlour, gas station, pizzas, bike rentals at and 15 minutes by bike the ocean beaches and surf lessons.
The Four golf course less than 10 minutes from the huts, and the spa and balneotherapy 1.3km away. The tennis club and the skate park are 800m away. A climbing gym 15 minutes away by car.
Claouey is the first village on the Cap-Ferret peninsula. It is also the easiest to access: 35 minutes from Bordeaux Merignac airport, 1 hour from St Jean train station. It is a charming and very family village.
The cabin is facing the cove of Bertic, which extends one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on this side of the basin!
Our part of the street is reserved for local residents and you can easily park your cars there.
Getting around is easy by bike or on foot.
