"Bubbling Creek" is a gorgeous 3 level log cabin decorated in western decor with all of the extra amenities, nestled in the 24/7 Guard gated community of the Shagbark Resort in a great location! You are literally 2 turns and 6 miles (only 10 minutes) from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! Something Great about the Shagbark Resort is all of the cabins are on at least 1/2 acre lots, so they are not stacked on top of each other like some resorts are!

This beautiful cabin is 3 levels and features 3 bedrooms, plus very unique stagecoach bunk beds in the loft (that kids love!), and 2 full baths with a 2 player 60 game video arcade table set on Free Play also located in the loft area. The creek runs right in front of the cabin, so it's a very peaceful setting nestled in the surrounding mountains. The main floor offers a furnished kitchen (fully stocked), the log table dining area, a 2 chair sitting area in front of the fireplace (in season), a spacious family room, one bedroom on the main level with a very comfy log king size bed, a full bath with a spacious walk-in shower, and nice plush towels. The downstairs has a huge beautiful aspen king size log bed set and a single twin bed, perfect for 3 people. The upstairs loft area has twin over twin Stagecoach bunk beds, the 2 player 60 game video arcade table with all of your oldie and favorite games, a full bath with a tub/shower combination, and a separate bedroom with a queen size western bed and your own private large deck with chairs to set outside and enjoy the sounds of the creek. This cabin also has a large front porch with a connecting side deck that has an oversized hot tub to enjoy after a long day of shopping and hiking! You will also enjoy the outside gas grill to cook your favorite meals and the propane is provided. Free WiFi internet is available and Direct-TV is throughout the cabin with a large HD Flat Screen TV in the living room, a DVD library (adult & kids movies), and Direct-TV in every bedroom, which includes the NFL Sunday Ticket Channel. Our biggest problem here was all of the spider webs and spiders EVERYWHERE . Even on the inside. We really couldn’t enjoy the whole cabin , like the upstairs deck because it was like infested. We never went up there again after seeing that. I know it’s in the woods and nature but I’ve been to the cabins multiple times and never had this issue. Maybe get the cleaners to knock them down after every visit , especially since there’s a cleaning fee attached to the booking. Also , the Olympic sized pool was not open as stated in the description which was a bummer. We were looking forward to the deli & a cleaner pool than the one on the actual resort. The Shagbark pool was filled with so many big centipedes, we could’ve gotten over the coldness of the pool but not those bugs. The folks at the deli were rude. They came and seen us outside and didn’t say a word so we assumed he was opening it up, came back out and got in his car and said “oh yeah we’re closed for the season” we felt like it was because of our skin , but I digress. The cabin host aware of it being closed early for the season for whatever reason. Other than that we really enjoyed our time here with family. It was very spacious inside and I loved how it looked inside as well. Rod was fast to respond to any issues or questions which is also a plus. Didn’t even wanna say anything negative because he was so kind but I think this cabin could use a lil more effort from the cleaners and it would be perfect.

This was one of the best vacations we ever had! The cabin was beautiful, roomy and Rod was so helpful. You can tell they really care about their guests! We will surely be back! I told my daughter this will forever be our cabin in the woods!

Property was overall good! Easy to get to, spacious for the 5 of us. The only issue we had was with hot water, we just had to space out our usage of hot water with showers, laundry, and dishwashing. Not a big deal. The hot tub was a nice feature. We also got to see a few black bears.

The trip up to the cabin was peaceful and directions were easy to follow. The safety of the gated community brought us extra peace. Communication was excellent and everything easily available at the cabin to recreate the comforts of home.The hot tub and family friendly pool down the hill were an excellent added bonus. Lots of places to gather or be comfortable in a quiet space. The Wi-Fi was strong if you need to connect for work and multiple TVs and locations to meet everyone's viewing needs.We had 8 in our party from ages 3- 58 and everyone enjoyed their stay. If you enjoy seeing wildlife, this cabin doesn't disappoint. We saw a mama bear with 2 cubs and later ayoung male. They liked rolling in the Bubbling Brook in front of the cabin. We all agree that we would book this cabin again! The peaceful woods, ease of paved roads and location between so many favorites places made this the perfect place to stay.

Our family certainly enjoyed the cabin and our stay in the area. The first day we were there we saw a bear and her 2 cubs which our grandchildren loved watching.The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked in every evening. We loved having a grill to cook on . We loved the large table where we could all eat together.The bedrooms were all very accommodating for our family with 3 grandchildren.Rod was just a phone call away for any questions or concerns we had . He answered immediately and helped us out. Mark was also very helpful the day we couldn’t get the grill lit but it got all figured out. It is a very comfortable, relaxing, quiet cabin in a gated area. There are plenty of towels for a larger family which is something you don’t always find. I would recommend to anyone to enjoy the peace and quiet away from the downtown area.

This cabin was even more amazing than we expected! Drinking coffee on the deck while listening to the creek was amazing! Everything was well stocked and beautiful. The beds were very comfy. The hot tub was warm and running when we arrived, and we saw bears the very first hour we were there. The bears are smart so lock your car as soon as you're finished unpacking. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had!!

This cabin has everything you’re looking for. Enough beds, rooms, bathrooms and amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very clean. The kitchen was spotless and was supplied with salt, pepper, spices, all your dishes, cups, silverware, and many, Extra appliances. The creek that runs through the property was beautiful and you could sit on the deck and just listen to it. The kids loved watching the woodchuck that lived in the hill across the road, it stayed pretty close and just minded its own business. The area was very quiet and safe. This host went over and beyond anything I have seen at a Vrbo before!

We celebrated our Christmas 🎅 early with our young adult and late teen kiddos. This place was PERFECT 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 full baths and numerous gathering vignettes for meals, games, and couch conversations…the huge kitchen was amazing…we brought our smoker and made ribs and wings had such a great time together!!…we will be back…and we even had a proposal on the deck!!

Rod was a terrific host and communicated directly when necessary. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed how peaceful it was. Low traffic, only two neighbors within view, yet not too far from town. What was supposed to be an anniversary trip turned into my two teens coming along to enjoy the stay. They loved having their own level for their rooms, looking at the beautiful fall leaves, and even getting to see a bear on the porch of our neighbor. Overall, it was a great trip and we will definitely be visiting this cabin in the future.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful and my kids and mom really enjoyed it as well. Rod is an amazing host and was quick to get back to us if we had any questions. I highly recommend this cabin to stay at and we will definitely stay again. I am afraid of heights and had to have my mom drive up the roads (these roads were paved and not gravel like some cabins) but it was well worth it in the end. It was close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the amenities were great and we didn’t have to worry about anything at all while we were there. All in all this place is a must stay for families. We loved our 6 night stay! Our host was wonderful and ordered a pack n’ play and high chair to accommodate our baby before our arrival. Our other three kids loved the hot tub and arcade games. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet environment. The upper balcony was a wonderful spot to drink our coffee and read a book with the sound of the river below. We regularly went to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey’s for daily adventures!

The cabin is beautiful. It was stocked as mentioned and the neighborhood was fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to figure out how to keep consistent hot water for the shower. You might get 5 minutes of hot but it always turns cold on you at some point. I took showers where the hot water did come back after a couple minutes and I took one where it didnt. Showers weren't enjoyable, but everything else about this cabin is wonderful. This cabin was fantastic, clean, and spacious. Rod was very responsive and we enjoyed this property and all of its amenities. We were just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the main strip to relax and could easily get into town when we wanted. We very much enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, gas grill, hot tub, and arcade games. If you enjoy the sounds of nature (creek & small waterfall on the property) the deck was the perfect place to be. We will be visiting one of Rods cabins again in the future!

The cabin was so cozy, plenty of parking for multiple cars. I loved the bridge and stream that welcomed us in the driveway. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Inside was spacious and offered all the convenience of home and more! The beds were comfy and the kids loved the stage coach bunk beds and games! We really enjoyed our stay!
