Little Gem In Heart Of West Wales

We had such a great time at this camping site! The tents were so unique and had everything we needed—having our own little kitchenette was super convenient, and the beds were way comfier than I expected for camping. It felt cozy and fun, the perfect mix of outdoorsy and comfortable. The only downside was that I ended up getting sick, so we couldn’t stay for the second night like we had planned, which was such a disappointment because we were really enjoying it.

Don’t think we could find anything to say disappointing about this place!

Idyllic Glamping Site near Tenby

This was our 2nd time glamping at Hideaway Escapes and it was even better than our 1st wonderful experience. The staff are really friendly and helpful and showed interest in our daughters' love of all the animals on site, answered their questions and even let them help feed some of them. We stayed in the Squirrel glamping tent and were able to fit the 4 of us (2 adults, 1 teen and 1 seven yr old) in comfortably; we cooked dinner over the campfire on a suspended grill provided by the campsite, and we stayed up late to see more stars than I have ever seen in a night's sky. We will definitely be returning again!

Wonderful stay with my 3 year old granddaughter.

Fantastic location close to so many family friendly attractions. The tent was spacious and the site itself was absolutely wonderful for my 3 year old granddaughter. She loved the play area and the animals.

Perhaps the kitchen items could have been a little cleaner.

Perfect glamping experience

Absolutely perfect across the board. Tent was immaculate and comfortable, all the facilities right there (kitchen had everything including coffee press, showers were hot, fire was well worth the small cost of firewood), staff were great, location was pretty and quiet, nearby town was charming. Everything we wanted and more

The friendly feel on campsite, was great to see all enjoying

The kitchen are was filthy 😳, not been cleaned properly for weeks, There was 2 metal mugs for coffee but you could not pick up as handel got to hot. Lights in kitchen are not working at all so could not cook when dark. Lights outside tent never worked that was a low point as didn't make it feel clamping. Would never stay again sorry Grass was knee high around seating area not kept well at all

The site is set in beautiful surroundings in the countryside. Lots of very friendly animals to pet dotted around the site. The tents we stayed in had very comfy beds and the kitchenettes were perfect and had all you needed. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely relaxed stay here & I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

This property has genuinely thought of everything — camping made easy, so you can simply enjoy the quality time. The animals were such a special touch for my little one, who absolutely loved them. The honesty shop was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Having our own little kitchen area was a solid 10/10, and with everything within eye view, it felt incredibly safe for children. As a single mum, that’s something I always look for, and not once did I feel my child was at risk. Camping alone with a little one can feel daunting, but here it was effortless. The staff were amazing, everything ran so smoothly, and we honestly had the most perfect stay.

Wonderful for Family Glamping

Everything was fantastic; from the friendly welcome to the facilities on site - camping has never been so easy or so fun! Our tent was perfect for my daughter & I to enjoy a comfortable night away under canvas (but in a proper bed!); I loved that I could buy fire wood & marshmallows on site so we could toast them over a camp fire, and my 7yr old daughter loved all the animals on site too.

There were a few wasps around but it is the end of July & this is beyond the campsite's control!

Amazing stay

I never leave reviews, but wow, just WOW. Gorgeous place, gorgeous animals and even more gorgeous owners, nothing was too much trouble -even giving us the opportunity to decorate in the morning, if it was empty, if not they offered to do it. The showers were amazing, toilets, onsite shop and the breakfast rolls. I cannot recommend it enough, for families, couples and friends, we had the best time. We will be back. Thank you.

Nice site and general set up in the tent itself . Private peaceful pitch

Stained duvet and pillows. Kitchen filthy - stove thick and sticky with grease . Plates put away unwashed. No washing up liquid or clothes etc . Barely any gas for the stove and if you need more you have to buy it from their shop.

It was beautifully set out, allowing a little freedom to our very young children in the park and field with safety from cars, and us being able to see them clearly at all times.

I was gutted there wasn’t enough gas in cooker to boil the kettle just once. It was for hot chocolate, and I so I only realised after the shop had closed, to be able to buy more.

Peaceful retreat at Hideaway heaven

The animals and the fact that you could pet and feed them. Simple but delightful. Very rural. The yurt was a traditional style. Campsite provided a firepit and fully equipped kitchen area.

Fantastic, friendly, clean and animal packed site!

Absolutely outstanding. The welcome we received on arrival was second to none, friendliest welcome I've ever experienced! We were shown around first, then to our tent and private kitchen which is a shed right next to the tent itself. We were shown how to use the lighting in the tent which, I have to say, was a brilliant light that stayed on all night (my son is not a fan of the dark!) The tent itself was spotlessly clean- how they mange to keep a tent that size, in a farm location so clean is beyond me! Beds were incredibly comfortable and we had plenty of storage. We only stayed the one night as a quick break but in all honesty, could of stayed a week and not struggled with space in the tent for all our things. The beds themselves were made wit clean sheets, mattress protectors, so we just used pillows and duvets which was lovely. The kitchen area is, BRILLIANT! Gas camping cooker, double ring and supplied with a full bottle of gas, every utensil you could possibly need, storage, an electric fridge that is plugged in already so nice and cold when we arrived. Plates, cups, cutlery etc all there ready to go- even a mop! It had lovely windows so I could watch the kids play whilst I made food for us all. Honestly I was so so impressed. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean, with full handsoaps, toilet rolls and blue rolls. No bad smells at all! Washing up area had sponges, scourers and washing up liquid and again, was very very clean. The animals are obviously well loved and looked after, and very friendly! The two goats are the friendliest goats I've ever known 😂 and made the kids day by running up to say hi every time we passed! The honesty shop is fairly priced and very well stocked, with an added bonus of having some lovely little animals in there- a pacman frog, praying mantis, land snails and stick insects - again, very well kept creatures that are cared for with obvious love.

I don't actually have any negatives, we loved our stay and will be back!

Lovely stay in a great location.

Lovely set up, good furniture in hired tent. Comfy and clean as much as the staff can do. Lovely animals on site and food available to feed them which I’m kids loved.

Unfortunately you can’t choose who you camp next to. Guests left mud all over the bathrooms and showers. Common courtesy to clean up after yourselves. On the last night unfortunately there was noise til very late. But I wouldn’t take the positives away from the staff and site itself

Relaxing, family break.

A small , family friendly campsite in a beautiful , quiet location. It has everything you need for a relaxing family break and the area is a perfect base for all the Pembrokeshire coastal towns . It was our grandchildren’s first camping trip and it was just perfect 👍

Fabulous stay in a cozy yurt 😍

We had a fabulous stay at the Hideaway Escapes in our glamping yurt. The lady was more than accommodating, so friendly and helpful and the yurt itself was fantastic, comfortable, cozy and everything available plus more for our stay. I would definitely recommend this site and we hope to be back again in the future.

Superb

Attention to detail was lovely, When we arrived there were towels, dressing gowns, tea, coffee, milk and treats ect. Decorated beautifully! Fairy lights. Breakfast can be delivered for a small price it was well worth the money. Area is private! No one walking past just your own little spot. Beautiful at night seeing the stars whilst laid in bed.
