7 Mi to Dtwn Asheville: Apartment w/ Patio

Quiet, perfect for what we needed, and very close to everything we wanted to do at a decent price. The kitchen was quite functional and well set up. Overall, we had a nice stay, and found this location to be fantastic! Definitely go check out the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Craggy Gardens!

We had to contend with quite a few spiders, and I spent about 30 minutes cleaning and removing cobwebs from the kitchen area when we arrived. We had no contact at all past the check in instructions email from the host (which was fine), though a bit unusual in my experience. The cleaning fee seemed high given that the check out tasks were pretty numerous (wash all dishes, take trash all the way to cans at the end of the driveway, strip bed and pile all linens).

Love that it was out of the way but very convenient to Asheville.

Thank you for opening your place for us to stay this past weekend (6/14-17). We had a great time exploring Asheville. There are three things I wanted to mention about our stay (none of which made an ounce of difference in the comfort we experienced) We never could get the coffee pot to work. After failure on day one we used it as a "pour over" and tried to give it a thorough cleaning, to no avail. The tubing in the shower is kinked just before the shower head. It did not impact the operation of the shower. Just thought it would be a note to pass on. Suggestion: the window without a shade (just below the 1/2 split AC) has potential for limiting intimacy. Even though the only thing out there are woods, as I tease my wife, the squirrels could be watching. Thank you for a wonderful 40th anniversary weekend. We have already passed on your address to neighbors looking to spend a day or two in Asheville this September.
