The staff at HOLT was very prompt and friendly in responding to inquiries. The location somewhat outside of the Centro area was both a blessing and a curse. While having less traffic and congestion was nice, it was a non-trivial hike to go into the city daily, and the cobblestone sidewalks EVERYWHERE didn't make the trek any easier. The sounds of the birds was very nice in the morning and throughout the day.

We would have appreciated knowing ahead of time how much noise (i.e., frequent explosions, fireworks, etc.) would be present. We understood that religious holidays are celebrated in Mexico and in SMA in particular with fireworks... but 10 of the 12 nights had explosions at 6:00 am or in the middle of the night at midnight or BOTH! (To paraphrase the Simpsons... "Celebrate the birth of Saint XYZ by blowing up a small part of your country!" :-) ) Of course, the property can't do anything to stop this, but some forewarning like "Bring your earplugs!" might have helped. The gym was not usable b/c it wasn't airconditioned and the "key" for the treadmill was missing and to our knowledge never found though we asked management for it.

Esta propiedad superó mis expectativas. Viajé con mi familia para navidad y nos encantó que había un árbol de navidad en la sala. Las habitaciones y los baños son amplios y tenían todo lo necesario y más. La cocina está muy bien equipada, con todo lo necesario para cocinar. El centro de San Miguel de Allende está a 15 minutos caminando y la caminata es sobre una calle principal transitada y bien iluminada. El conjunto habitacional en donde está este lugar en muy lindo y seguro. Nos encantó nuestra estancia en este lugar y nos volveriamos a hospedar aquí ya que alrededor hay tiendas y restaurantes pequeños.

We had the most amazing stay at this property in San Miguel de Allende. Not only was the space exceptionally well decorated, clean, and very comfortable - but it was also so well stocked with everything you'd need (kitchen utensils, HDMI cables, toiletries, etc.). We were in town for a wedding and the hosts even made sure to place a steamer in the property before we arrived. The property is only a short 15min stroll from the center of town, and very comfortable compound with a pool for those hot days. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone coming to San Miguel de Allende.

Location was good, furnished very nicely. The bed was very comfy. Kitchen well-equipped and the bathrooms were lovely. The living room tv was great. The one in the bedroom didn’t work. I was there for only 2 nights so didn’t want to waste my time trying to get it fixed. Nice location with plenty of food stores and shopping. Very near Design Center Aurora.

Difficulty getting into the unit. The coded lockbox and digital door lock initially didn’t work. Management at the property does not have the codes. Had to call HOLT management. Quite a lot of paperwork which I did in advance. I understand it was a contract for a condo which would make sense for a month stay. For me for two nights it would have been more efficient to stay in a hotel without having to sign a damage waiver and scan my passport with a selfie. Noise level (it was a weekend and San Miguel is notoriously noisy)big block party just outside the complex and the unit is at the edge of the property so next to the party. Very easy to hear neighbors walking around in the upstairs unit.
