The best part of the property was its cleanliness, the kitchen and the bathroom. Our hostess had some cake and bottled water for us when we arrived. She also met us at the apartment. That was much appreciated after a long drive. There is a nearby bakery which we used twice and could have used more if they had longer hours, but that's that. Valerie was easy to get hold of by phone or messaging. The kitchen supplies showed how much thought and planning were considered,

The noise from the apartment above us, but we got used to it by the next evening/morning. We're glad we had a car as it was quite a distance from the historical centre. We walked to the seawall and strolled along it from one end to the other. As well, we used the bus on our way home. Had we stayed there longer, we might have taken advantage of public transportation more. It is a perfect apartment for one person, the sofa bed is a bit small for two people.
