Pilsētas glempings - "Šķūņaugša"

A wonderful place to stay! The facilities are better than expected and we loved hiking in the nearby area. The shower is the best we’ve had on our 10-day trip through the Baltics.

Great location and atmosphere. I really enjoyed how the place looks and feels. I will definitely stay here again if I go to Valmiera. Great price.

There are loud birds early in the morning. If you want to sleep longer take earplugs with you. A little bit cold as the barn is more appropriate for hot weather.

Lovely location! It’s super close to the playground which was needed as we travelled with a child. Also, the lady that showed everything was very sweet and polite. We liked the 90’s style interior! 🤘🏼We liked the shower - very spacious! ☺️

We didn’t like the fact that the decks on the walls had big gaps between them so it was very cold during the night and we stayed when it was warm outside during the day. We didn’t know that it will feel like sleeping outside so this is definitely not a place for kids. We were surprised that there wasn’t a fridge or any kitchen appliances. When we arrived the lady said straight forward that there aren’t really any dishes or any tools. That was a shocker. 🙈 We had bought food and couldn’t place it in the cold. When you are inside the “šķūņaugša” you can hear everything that goes around outside - people talking, walking past the house, cars driving etc. 🥹 The price is super cheap and one night was fine but we wouldn’t stay for another. Price is cheap but still you should warn your guests about all of this because we were shocked how cold it was during the night.
