Pilsētas glempings - "Šķūņaugša"

It was unique and like in the old Latvian movies!

Welcoming wasn’t the best, because no one answered the phone , then when I was at the place I called again and only then they answered. Lady who met me, made me feel like I couldn’t stay here because apartment isn’t luxury and read about me from clothing, like I’ll run away. Even when I was positive about everything she looked at me suspicious.

Ideāla atrašanās vieta, superforši saimnieki. Šī patiešām ir šķūņaugša ar visu, kas tai piedienas un vēl vairāk. Šeit nebūs sterilitātes ikvienā kaktā, taču te ir dzīva vide un sajūta kā pie omes laukos, kur esi gaidīts. Ābolu grozs sagaidot bija ļoti sirsnīgs un jauks pārsteigums. Ja jums patīk bezpersoniska standarta viesnīca, tad šis nav jums.

Vienīgais, ko varētu uzlabot, ir gultas augstums - pacelt rāmi par 10-20 cm būtu ideāli, lai no gultas izkāptu bez problēmām.

Hoiatati, et katus läheb päikese käes kuumaks, tegelikult õõsel oli jube külm, hommikuks oli külmem kui õues.

Lovely location! It’s super close to the playground which was needed as we travelled with a child. Also, the lady that showed everything was very sweet and polite. We liked the 90’s style interior! 🤘🏼We liked the shower - very spacious! ☺️

We didn’t like the fact that the decks on the walls had big gaps between them so it was very cold during the night and we stayed when it was warm outside during the day. We didn’t know that it will feel like sleeping outside so this is definitely not a place for kids. We were surprised that there wasn’t a fridge or any kitchen appliances. When we arrived the lady said straight forward that there aren’t really any dishes or any tools. That was a shocker. 🙈 We had bought food and couldn’t place it in the cold. When you are inside the “šķūņaugša” you can hear everything that goes around outside - people talking, walking past the house, cars driving etc. 🥹 The price is super cheap and one night was fine but we wouldn’t stay for another. Price is cheap but still you should warn your guests about all of this because we were shocked how cold it was during the night.
