Paldaži Farm, Authentic Barn Heyloft experience

Unique and beautiful hay loft experience. In a barn, above the chickens, no bed but rather sheets on the hay. Plenty of clean covers available. Working farm with a most kind owner. Beautiful property. Breakfast was excellent. 10 min walk from bus stop. We loved our stay.

What we might have missed in the ad: small surcharge for linens, outhouse (clean).

Beautiful place, private lake, smoke sauna, great food from the farm produce - including beekeeping produce, very cute dogs! The owner is very friendly, showed us the farm, and taught us about its century of history. And super affordable! I was fortunate to arrive during an event, so sadly I missed the hay stack, but I had a much more interesting experience. We had the smoke sauna, which was a great cultural experience, and I joined a tour of the area. I eventually stayed longer than my original booking and helped a bit at the farm, which was super fun! I'll definitely come again some day!

The place is not about comfort, but about a cultural experience: shower is available either at the host's house or the private lake. Ecological toilets. My room was very basic (which could just be a specific situation in my room, because the haystack was not available, so I can't comment on that), no electricity in my room. Only for dog lovers!

Great experience not to miss. Will soon go back again!
