Tamarindo Beach is a beautiful beach with amazing waves, sunsets and so much more. Tamarindo is a great town full of things to do, great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. People from all over the world call Tamarindo "home" making it a melting pot of experiences, food, and activities. Tamarindo has something for everyone...from family-friendly restaurants and activities, surf lessons, kayaking, boogie boarding, etc. to great restaurants, bars, and nightlife. There are amazing boutiques, souvenir shopping and great grocery stores, and farmers and night markets. Tamarindo is a great place to take a surf lesson or to hop on a boat for a day of fishing or a sunset Catamaran tour. We even have a skate park and basketball court for those who want something to do in addition to the beach. The Tamarindo Bay offers surf breaks for multiple levels of surfers and calm waters for those who just want to swim and float. The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball, or just sitting and watching the sunset. Just outside of Tamarindo, there are amazing bike trails for mountain bikers, and it's an easy drive to many other amazing beaches. MAT602B - This luxury 2BR condo is located on the sixth floor of the elegant Matapalo complex. It is beautifully done, fully equipped, and has a spectacular view of Tamarindo, Playa Grande, and the ocean. It is the lower floor of a full 4BR condo, so it can be rented either as a 2 or 4BR unit. The entire condo is air conditioned, but all of the windows and doors have screens on them as well if you want to enjoy the ocean breeze or the sounds of nature that surround you!
The condo has the light floating feeling of being in a dream. Cream-colored tile floors with round-pebble detail span the unit, spilling out of glass doors onto a patio that feels like it leads into thin air. The breathtaking view gives such a sensation of flying that you will find yourself reaching out for something to hold on to. Below lies an exotic tropical garden that surrounds the large free-form pool. In the near distance, Tamarindo beach, lined by royal palms stretches to meet the La Baula Estuary and National Park. The scene fades away in the distance as sky and sea melt into a kaleidoscope of clouds.
On the lower 2BR level there is a fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops that adjoins the living area. Efficiently compact and practical, the kitchen includes a flattop electric stove, oven, large double-door refrigerator with an ice dispenser, a dishwasher and all the necessary items to create and enjoy your favorite meals. A small and comfortable washroom is located between the kitchen and the main door.
Arched doorways with classic columns lead from the main living area to two bedrooms located on this lower level. Each room is flooded with natural light, has spacious closets, and its own private bath. The bedroom located on the front side of the building has two sets of sliding glass doors; one leading to the common terrace and another that opens onto a private patio and a panoramic birds-eye-view. The bedroom on the other side has large windows that survey the rolling hills and coastline to the south. The living area has a queen sized sleeper sofa.
Below, an enormous swimming pool of organic design is the center of the garden area and boasts a swim up bar which you won’t want to miss. Across the street an oceanfront restaurant is preparing tropical delicacies to add sweetness and spice to the memories you will carry with you for a lifetime.

Our stay was great. 602 was a good floor with great views. We did need to get a fourth chair for the deck.

Awesome mattress & pillows, new bed linens, towels, dishes, & TV. Fast hot water with great water pressure in the showers. Nice attention to detail by RPM Management complete with fresh tropical flowers, freshly baked french bread, homemade pineapple jam, & a lovely bottle of wine. Hard to beat the ocean views from the terrace & balcony which has a gas grill ( & the gas tank was full). This unit is located at the quiet far end of the Matapalo building. You can also rent the additional upstairs unit with bed, bath, jacuzzi, & killer views. We could not have been more pleased with this unit. We have stayed in at least 9 other units at the Diria condo complex, & this was one of our favorites. The only issue we had was the slow, low-bandwidth internet which made it difficult for us to work remotely. We have paid extra for high-speed, secured internet service. Highly recommend this unit & look forward to staying there again.

To start, RPM Services & office crew were fantastic – from answering all our questions and making airport travel arrangements – all was taken care of promptly, professionally and without any challenges. Airport pickup was convenient, took us right to the unit, provided us with keys, cards and bracelets. Both drivers were kind, polite and drove the Costa Rica roadways safely and with ease. Matapalo unit was beautiful – high quality artwork and furniture with a view that was beautiful. Kitchen appliances all high-end, with a dishwasher and a bbq on the balcony – stocked kitchen with supplies, which was a nice surprise (included coffee filters). Beds were comfortable and extra bedding and towels were available in mass quantity – rooms themselves were large, such nice furniture and décor. Unit also had a washer and dryer, including soap, which was handy with a family of 5 – 3 kids (17, 15 and 10). The grounds were very well taken care of, always being trimmed and groomed all day long – building is secure and the guards are friendly. The family pool was our morning refuge, soaking by 9am and taking a refreshing swim in a palm tree covered pool. Bartender at the pool was friendly, keeping us hydrated and serving delicious Costa Rican Coco Loco’s to the tune of some excellent Spanish latino music going all day long. Beach was just across the street, cute little shops and restaurants – you are in the middle of Tamarindo! Area is safe, never felt uncomfortable and kids absolutely loved this property too. Unit itself was large, spacious and very clean – maid service came through a few times throughout our visit as well. Grocery stores, bank machines, restaurants are all within walking distance. It was fun to locate the web cams that we had been watching for months – the sunsets were worth a million dollars too, amazing. Really do want to thank the team at RP

Overall, it was nice but the biggest issue was the noise from upstairs. The chairs sliding across the floor was very annoying - adding chair pads to the legs would help a lot. It was also very noisy upstairs - there is a huge gap under the door to the upstairs unit so we could hear them like they were in the downstairs living room with us.
