Lavender Lodge, 8 Roadford Lake Lodges

We loved Lavender Lodge. A very functional space that was immaculately clean - with great views out the back and a nice hot tub. It exceeded our expectations!

Little to fault!

Everything was amazing

Im sorry but we stay in lodges around 15x a year and this has to be one of the worst. The living room and dining room laminate flooring was filthy and has not seen cleaning agents and a mop in avery long time. The bathroom lino was filthy again not cleaned correctly. The toilet flusher constantly jammed open, leading to opening the top to correct it. There was dirt dust everywhere. The skirting boards where chipped in many places. The garden table was falling apart with all the bamboo affect webbing broken everywhere. Now the worst thing is the hot tub. It says if any mess is made where the water needs to be changed will result in a charge. Im sorry but that water needs o be emptied and cleaned after each customer leaves before new arrive. The brochure says it is maintained daily but i can guarantee, this was not the case. The chemical levels where well below where they should have been and as a result we used it once. Upon arriving the reception area was empty with zero staff to greet you. This stayed that way for the whole 4 days.In todays holiday industry that is very poor and extremely rude. We will not be staying here again and will pass the review onto the website we ordered it from.To charge someone extra money against damage, firstly make sure the place is not already tired.
