    The hotel is a tad old but overall functional, clean and comfortable. The location is strategically located inside the park so you can do your walk or hike easily anytime. It's also a very easy distance to the train that takes you up to see sunrise (bus shuttle provided). The dinner buffet was surprisingly good with various options and good local quality. Most of all, the concierge service was very good where they go above and beyond to recommend customise day trip / trails to our liking. They were most patient and enthusiastic to share what they know of Alishan with us. We feel safe and relaxed and in good hands to navigate the mountains. Highly recommend!

    If you’re planning a comfortable stay in Alishan National Park, this is the most strategic location with exceptional convenience and great service from the staff.

    This hotel was set up as one of the view hotels in the park, which is well appointed and extremely good value for the experience. This was not an expensive, but we had breakfast and dinner included in our room, so that was somewhat OK for offset the staff was extremely Careful to make sure we were getting everything timed just right and they have clearly done this before the room was very nice and had of view itself. That was magnificent terrace on the seventh floor had a wonderful view for sunset, and the mini pats were leading down to mountain views, which were breathtaking Not to be missed. You were very helpful for getting those to the very very early morning train to the viewing spot which was shared by approximately 150 other people. This is a long walk has lots of food options to Park and the whole experience is not to be best if one can get there it’s Good value for the money. .

    Terrible two days of buffet food. Staff, however, is exceptional We stayed in the old section (very dirty) then the new section (extremely nice and clean). Summary: over priced but great location. Stay away from the buffet (the hot pot restaurant at the hotel next to this is way better) and be sure to choose a room in the new building.
