We booked 2 nights and had to cancel the 2nd night because the park was closed due to typhoon. The hotel reached out to inform the news and even offer the free cancelation without asking. The staff who made the cancelation for me was very nice (sorry I didn't ask her name but she is wearing eye-glasses) and tried to handle my complication professionally. Thank you so much. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nothing to complaint. The breakfast wasn't bad but you need to walk uphill to get it.

Slightly more expensive but a nice, clean and convenient hotel. Much more spacious than expected, have water dispenser, lift, and provides transport to bus station just outside of Alishan forest area. Helps a lot to avoid the long stairways particularly after long hikes. Heated toilet seat and heated bed. Not much of mountain view though it is a Mountain View room. Overall very clean and good hotel!

Basic but fine for Alishan Recently renovated, but the walls are paper-thin, so you hear every noise in the hotel. Rooms face the towel laundry and the main car park, so there's always some background noise. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. Breakfast is a standard buffet at a restaurant in the village, which seems to feed all the hotels in town. Nothing special. It's a very basic 3-star, but for such a small village, it's better than nothing.
