Good location for walking into the town (a stone’s throw) in the evening. Huge number of restaurants in the town and Karin gave some helpful recommendations. Apartment was clean. Karin was very responsive when I messaged or needed to call her. And helpful to be able to store luggage in the garage as we were leaving the town later than check out time . Communal pool was lovely for a dip at the end of the day (too hot in the daytime to stay there long). The taxi service that Karin had put us in touch with were excellent. When we’d messaged about hiring bikes Karin told us that there were 4 bikes we could use in the garage (we wouldn’t have known about them otherwise). The bikes were great condition and made it easy to explore up to Garda or Lazise on the lovely lakeside pathways.

It wasn’t as “wow” as we expected for the price. Maybe that’s Bardolino but we were coming from Riva where we’d had an amazing apartment for 20% less. Arrival instructions on booking.com talk about a lock box for keys on arrival. The reality was that there was no instruction about what number to press so we had to call Karin so she could arrange for someone to come and let us in. Photos and property description included bbq. The reality was that we needed to message an hour ahead of time if we wanted the bbq and her parents would bring it over. Come prepared for mosquitos. We gave up eating outside as even at breakfast we were being bitten. The indoor dining area is just a small counter. Some more basics upon arrival would have been nice (even water in the fridge). One of the bathrooms just had half a roll of toilet paper. Properly probably better for those with a car who could easily get to the nicely sized Spar in Bardolino.

Being unfamiliar using aircon for heating I would have preferred an extra blanket for warmth at night

Schon der Empfang war super freundlich. Großer Pluspunkt war die Tiefgarage zum Parken. Mit dem Aufzug in das wunderschöne Appartement. Sauber. Ruhig. Stilvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Man ist in weniger als 5 Minuten am Gardasee und in noch kürzerer Zeit im Zentrum von Bardolino. Ebenso in der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt und zahlreiche Shops. Einfach traumhaft war der Whirlpool im Garten zur privaten Nutzung und der öffentlich zugängliche große Pool zum Schwimmen.
