We spent Thanksgiving 2022 at the pecan farm and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house overlooks a meadow, with no other house in sight. (The owner’s house is on the property but not so close that you disturb one another.) We enjoyed watching the birds glide around the house, especially an owl that settled in a tree very close to the house. There seemed to be a fire pit close but as it rained almost nonstop we could not make use of it.
The beds in each bedroom were perfect -no saggy spots! The hot water was plentiful in both bathrooms. The kitchen appliances and utensils easily accommodated the haul of Thanksgiving foods that I brought with me, There are not many restaurants nearby but there is a great local coffee shop in Calvert.
We had plenty of space to spread out for individual time, and a great table for family meals and games.

This property is so beautiful and perfectly set in the country. It's quiet and homey. The property owners are so sweet and extremely helpful when needed. Highly suggest staying here for a family getaway
