Santa Croce Apt

Accommodation in Florence is quite expensive, and the Santa Croce Apartment was the best value we found. The location is excellent, with easy access to the main tourist attractions (about a 15-minute walk on average) and right next to the Santa Croce Church. The area has plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and other conveniences. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The shower worked well, and the bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed to rest and recharge. The host was extremely kind and proactive, giving us great restaurant recommendations nearby, which were really helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

The apartment has a slightly unusual layout and is quite simple — it’s not modern or recently renovated.

The host Alessio was outstanding. When my old mom was ill the last night of our stay he did let us stay the whole next day so my mom could recover and we were able to catch our flight home. Always helpful and answering quickly on my questions. The apartment is very well located in a quiet street but still very close to restaurants, shops, the Arno River and main atractions.

Be aware there is no elevator.

The apartment is located very centrally and a short walk from all the tourist attractions. The C2 and C3 bus stops are 2 mins walk from the apartment meaning traveling around the city is very convenient. The apartment is quite spacious too so we had enough space for a family of 4.

The bathroom door is quite old and didn't close properly. It made a loud noise every time you open or close it. Also there is an internal window between the bedroom and living room which didn't make sense.
