Beautifully remodeled, art-filled, elegant unit in the luxurious Sapphire tower on South Padre Island! With views from every vantage point, you can watch the sun rise over the beach and set over the bay from two private balconies. Beautiful living area with 70' big screen TV for enjoying events, movies or gaming. Well appointed kitchen and dining area. Comfortable beds and luxury linens let you sleep peacefully. Enjoy the two large soaking tubs for after a long day by the Ocean. Sapphire has a large workout facility, Aveda spa and the largest pool on the Island. Guests have privileges at the Pearl Hotel's pool, restaurant and bar.

Our party of 4 adults and 2 teens enjoyed our stay in this lovely, cozy unit. It was well-appointed, from the lovely art and quality, comfortable furniture, well-stocked kitchen and beach chairs/toys (we brought our own but if we stay here again, that would be less to haul!).Patio view on bay side is better, and that’s where the patio furniture was kept. Gulf views is partially obstructed from balcony by Margaritaville, which apparently used to be The Pearl; they don’t allow guests in their pools anymore, but are happy to keep a tab running if you want to walk over and buy drinks or snacks. Margaritaville’s music definitely takes over at Sapphire’s pool since Sapphire doesn’t allow guests to use speakers and they don’t play any music or have any Bar or Food service.We were a little disappointed by the Sapphire amenities/facility upkeep and general staff attitude towards renters versus owners, but that’s no reflection on Liz or her unit. The couple of issues we had inside the unit during our stay were met with her quick response and we appreciated the custom window coverings, as well as the box fans available, to help with the intense summer heat, which always abated in the evening with a nice breeze. Lovely location on the beach and great first trip to SPI!

Everything was as pictured and advertised. Beds were comfortable and living room space was very cozy. We had minor AC issues the first night, but the owner was very responsive and helpful resolving.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was spacious enough for 6 kids & 2 adults. My littles enjoyed the beach toys. Everything was wonderful, the only downside is that the balcony looks straight into the hotel in front of it. You have a view of the beach on either side but you do face into the back of the hotel. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels & bedding. Very comfortable stay.
